Above the Peaks - monochrome landscape fine art print
Above the Peaks - monochrome landscape fine art print
This charcoal landscape drawing captures the cloudless view from the top of Grindsbrook Clough on Kinder Scout, the highest point in the Peak District. Drawn on a rare, brilliantly sunny day, the landscape looks out across the surrounding peaks and valleys, celebrating the clarity, space, and joy found at the summit. The climb was a fun, hands-on scramble to the top, and the artwork preserves the sense of freedom and exhilaration experienced there. Created using handmade charcoal from twigs found along the walk, the drawing holds both the physical journey and the lightness of that perfect day.
